Design that's considered, crafted, and entirely yours.
I'm a multidisciplinary designer working across branding, web, and print — with photography woven in wherever it adds depth. My work is grounded in intention: every logo, layout, and image is built to feel cohesive, purposeful, and authentically you.
Logos, color systems, and typography that define your identity
Clean, intentional layouts built to communicate and convert
Brochures, sales collateral, and anything that lives off-screen
Available as an add-on to any branding, web, or print project
I also make ceramics by hand. Each piece is one-of-a-kind and available to purchase — you'll find them in the shop alongside the rest of my work.
Howdy Neighbor, I'm Emily. But you can call me M.
With 14 years of design and photography experience and a degree in Graphic Design Communications, I've spent my career helping brands find their visual voice — but honestly, creativity has always just been part of who I am. From choirs and musicals to art classes and eventually a full-blown career in design, I've never been able to sit still when there's something to make.
By day I work as a Sr. Web Operations Manager at a veterinary technology company, which means I bring real-world, production-level thinking to every freelance project. I know how to balance the creative with the practical — and I've got the project plan to prove it.
Based in Oceanside, CA (by way of the East Coast), I work with small businesses and passionate people ready to build something real. Whether you're launching a brand, refreshing your website, or need a set of print materials that actually look like you — I'm here for it. My style is collaborative and laid-back, but I'm also low-key Type A, so you'll always know where your project stands.
When I'm not designing, you'll find me at the ceramics studio — my screen-free creative escape that's taught me as much about patience and community as it has about clay. I also love to explore national parks, hunt for vinyl, cook gluten-free recipes that actually taste good, and cheer way too hard for the Montreal Canadiens and the Philadelphia Eagles — yes, both, and no, I won't apologize.
If good work and good conversation sound like your thing, let's grab a (real or virtual) coffee.
